It comes with aprotective rubber cover and integratedstand making it easy to operate as ahand-held unit or as a desktop display.Operating the SCM-150 is very simple.Everything is controlled by eight easyto read push buttons. The two sensorinputs allow you to read pressure, temperature,flow and RPM. The automaticsensor recognition circuit properlydisplays the sensor connected to eachof the inputs, eliminating complicatedadjustments and calibrations on themeter. The unit also features amemory function that allows you tostore both minimum and maximumrecorded values. Another verybeneficial feature is the “pressuredifferential” function. This allows you todisplay the actual pressure dropbetween two different test points in thehydraulic or pneumatic system.Both Serviceman meters are poweredby a rechargeable Ni-MH (NickelMetal-Hydride) battery system andcan also be connected to a 120 voltexternal power supply for continuousoperation. The low power consumptionallows these units to be used for extendedperiods of time independent ofan external power supply.The Serviceman Level 2 can also bedirectly interfaced to an Excel spreadsheet via the auxiliary computeradapter and Serviceman software.The Parker Serviceman software iscompatible with all Windows 95 andnewer operating systems.These Serviceman kits are the idealdiagnostic tools for maintenance andservice personnel in the industrial, mobileand agricultural markets.
