Jharkhand is a land which has witnessed the transformation
of Homo-Erectus to Homo-sapiens. The culture, life-style and the
oneness with nature of tribal people of Jharkhand is unique. The
music, dance, songs, paintings are based on nature which tends to
imitate the voice of nature and mother earth. Chhau Nritya of
Jharkhand is world famous which describes the culture of India in
totality.
Many National Institutes of repute and excellence are located
in Jharkhand. This state is immensely rich in mineral deposits and
naturally many national and international business houses and
factories are located here. Jharkhand is also famous for very large
number of public schools up to +2 level and many of them are
recognised on national basis. Jharkhand is a place of ecstasy,
unspoiled by man and time and just being here is good for body and
soul.
Ranchi is the Capital of Jharkhand and the Jharkhand
Academic Council, Gyandeep Campus, Bargawan, Namkum, Ranchi
is the venue of the COBSE Conference, 2008.
Ranchi district has got many water-falls, rock formation
and hillocks. There are lots of places of visit of special interest
