Fertiliser and Agri Inputs DivisionLocated at Gadepan in Kota district of Rajasthan, our two hi-tech nitrogenous fertiliser plants produceabout 2 million tonnes of urea per annum. Built with an investment of Rs. 25 billion, it is one of thelargest private sector fertiliser complex in India.Our two units in Gadepan commenced commercial production in 1994 and 1999. We adopted state-ofthe-arttechnology including that from Haldor Topsoe (Denmark), Snamprogetti (Italy), Kellog (USA),Toyo Engineering Corporation (Japan) in our two units.Chambal caters to the Northern, Central and Western regions of India and supplies its produce to tenstates. The Company markets Urea under the brand name of ‘Uttam Veer’. With ten regional offices,Chambal has a 1,300 strong dealer network and 20,000 village level outlets to assist distribution.Besides Urea, fertilisers such as DAP, MOP, SSP and other agri-inputs as zinc sulphate, pesticides andseeds are made available to the farmers under the ‘single window’ concept.13
