installation of officers
banquet at the parish
premises Saturday, April 8.

Rzepka at age 88. is
admired by many members
of the community for his
constant activity,
perennially engaged in
something that is beneficial,
bringing esteem to those
with whom he associates, to
the city of South Amboy, to
Middlesex County, and
throughout the metropolitan
area.
He belongs to many local,

organizations and'plays a
leading role in their
programs of activity

he is called by almost
everyone, is already in
motion at 6:00 am. or
earlier, heading for his
electrical shops,
accompanied by his younger
brother Joe, at a quickened
pace, "shaping up for the
day's work schedule.
He and Joe, nicknamed
"Chappy," work steadily as
a team, .scurrying around,
here and there, busy as
beavers. A common saying
around town is "He's still
climbing poles " Because of
his bursts of energy, he is the
envy of many younger
generation residents.
Adam Wears Many Hats
During Memorial Day,
Indpendenc'- Day, or
Veteran's Day, Adam is seen
setting a fast pace in the
company of others,
marching with colors and
carrying a bundle of flags,
visiting local cemeteries to
decorate graves of veterans.
He recites "The Soldier's
Prayer" at all of his
destinations and usually
addresses groups or
congregations with brief
extemporaneous remarks,
thanking the for their
participation and
remembrance
He has been parade
marshal! on a number of
occasions, both civil and
religious He was both
parade marshall for the
Middlesex County
Federation of Holy Name
Societies, for the Pulaski
Day Parade on Fifth
Avenue, New \ork City, to
which he led annual
contingent! of club
members, children and
guests for many consecutive
years, and in other related
events
