SUCCESSFUL TOWN BOWLS SEASON
What‘s fun, challenging, and can bring grown adults to their knees?
Town Bowls Presentation Night, (March 9 th ) where a round of novelty
events, including ―Bowl on your Knees Please‖, provided many laughs,
followed by delicious supper and presentation of Winner‘s Awards.
Co-ordinated by May Leaney, assisted by Linda Hausler, Town Bowls
2010/2011 proved friendly and hugely popular again, with 14 teams
competing at Morgan Bowling Club over 19 fun filled weeks. Vying for
the medals in a successful season were teams: Unbiased, The
Boaties, Classic Caltex, Council Clowns, Beer Hunters, TMFU,
Termi Cruisers, Bla Bla Bla, The Booze Bros, The Trappers, Wing
Nuts, Bowling Stones, Friendly Grocers and Waste of Space. Morgan
Bowling Club sincerely thank all who took part in teams. In turn, all
teams genuinely thank Morgan Bowling Club, especially: Sue
Sutherland, Dave Evans, Ern Pobke, Kay Fry, May Leaney, Linda
Hausler, Raylene Boden and helpers. Extra thanks Bev Moxham for
great Birthday cakes, and Commercial Hotel and Terminus Hotel for
donating raffle prizes throughout the season. Winner of Best Dressed
Team Name was Waste
of Space. NABA

gallant runners up in the
main medal stakes, and
Talorville‘s TMFU
driving into first place.
