The Air control should be adjusted when the flames blush down, to reduce the airsupply.4. When only glowing charcoals remain, reduce the air-supply further, so heatingdemand is just covered. With a lower air supply, charcoal will burn slower and theheat loss through the chimney is reduced.5.
