10) Any steam produced to create theatrical effects shall be produced with clean water, i.e. notboiler water or any other water from a source other than tap or bottle, and shall not introduceany biocide or other chemical agents into the clean water used to produce steam. BSJ agreesto meet and confer with AGMA before each use <strong>of</strong> any smoke and fog products if sorequested by AGMA11) In recognition <strong>of</strong> the fact that some smoke and fog effects are proven to be harmful toARTISTs, BSJ and AGMA agree to meet in good faith within the term <strong>of</strong> this BasicAgreement to review ways in which BSJ may insure healthy use <strong>of</strong> smoke and fog effects atany facility utilized by BSJ which is as follows.C. Supervision <strong>of</strong> childrenNo children shall be unsupervised at any time or permitted in production areas, hallways orcorridors, except as necessary to fulfill their performance obligations.D. Makeup1) All makeup and makeup adjuncts shall comply with all regulations <strong>of</strong> the Federal DrugAdministrator2) BSJ will instruct all makeup artists employed to take all necessary steps to avoidcontamination between ARTISTs, including possible contamination from utilizing the samewater when applying makeup on more than one ARTIST.E. Costumes, Shoes, and Wigs.All costumes, costume accessories, shoes and wigs will be supplied by BSJ.1) BSJ will supply kneepads for any ARTIST who is required to kneel in rehearsal and, whenpossible, for performance.2) Before being worn by ARTIST for the first time, all costumes and wigs shall be cleaned. Alllinens, T-shirts, stockings, tights, etc. (all washable items) shall be washed. Any item wornnext to the skin shall be washed prior to each rehearsal or performance.3) No ARTIST shall be required to wear undergarments previously worn by another ARTIST.4) No ARTIST shall be required to wear tights or trunks, which have not been cleaned ordisinfected.5) BSJ provides shoes, including but not limited to rehearsal shoes, which are satisfactory toeach ARTIST. BSJ will make best efforts to provide performance shoes one (1) week prior tothe first performance <strong>of</strong> each ballet.F. Weapons SafetyBSJ agrees that whenever a production requires the use <strong>of</strong> firearms, swords, knives, (hereinknown as “weapons”) or other props used as weapons, the following rules shall apply:51
