eason <strong>of</strong> an action <strong>of</strong> AGMA which is in violation <strong>of</strong> the said Labor Management RelationsAct.3) Nothing contained within this Basic Agreement or the Standard Artist's Contract forEmployment in any way shall abrogate the artistic prerogatives <strong>of</strong> the management, whichshall be the sole judge and arbiter <strong>of</strong> any and all artistic matters.H. AGMA REPRESENTATIVE: ADMISSION TO PREMISESAny <strong>of</strong>ficer, delegate or duly authorized staff representative <strong>of</strong> AGMA shall be admitted to thepremises <strong>of</strong> BSJ, or such other place where the ARTISTs rehearse, perform or provide any otherservice for BSJ, for the purpose <strong>of</strong> verifying compliance with this Basic Agreement,investigating and adjusting grievances, determining terms and conditions <strong>of</strong> employment, and toconduct AGMA business. As required by law, BSJ agrees to cooperate with such AGMArepresentative in dealing with all matters pertaining to this Basic Agreement and to any other<strong>of</strong>ficial business <strong>of</strong> AGMA as the exclusive bargaining agent <strong>of</strong> ARTISTs.I. REPRESENTATION1) AGMA shall designate two (2) Company Members (as defined in Section III, J. <strong>of</strong> this BasicAgreement) as Delegates.2) BSJ will provide at least one (1) hour <strong>of</strong> company time during the first month <strong>of</strong> the seasonfor shop meetings, in order that AGMA members can elect Delegate(s) and a JointCommittee and acquaint the members with the <strong>provisions</strong> <strong>of</strong> this Basic Agreement. Inaddition, subject to the requirement <strong>of</strong> rehearsal and performance, BSJ agrees to set aside anadditional hour <strong>of</strong> company time upon request <strong>of</strong> AGMA, upon the completion <strong>of</strong> Nutcrackerand yet another additional hour after the letters <strong>of</strong> engagement have been issued by BSJ (i.e.approximately sixty (60) days before the end <strong>of</strong> the season).3) BSJ shall make best efforts to accommodate the attendance/participation <strong>of</strong> ARTISTs toattend AGMA area meetings via teleconferencesJ. BOARD ACCESSWhen designated representatives <strong>of</strong> AGMA desire to meet with or address the Operating Board<strong>of</strong> Directors, such a request shall be made to the Executive Director, and such a request shall notbe denied. The Executive Director will present the request to the Operating Board. The boardwill have final approval <strong>of</strong> any formal address and how and when to accommodate the actuallogistics <strong>of</strong> such a request. BSJ and AGMA shall discuss ways in which to make the mosteffective use <strong>of</strong> this forum in Joint Committee.K. COMPANY MEETINGSBSJ shall set aside one (1) hour <strong>of</strong> company time per rehearsal period <strong>of</strong> three (3) weeks or morefor ARTISTs to use for AGMA shop meetings. ARTIST attendance at such meetings shall bemandatory.4
