2) Ballet Mistress/Master Feea) Any ARTIST appointed by the Artistic Staff or their representative to take charge <strong>of</strong> an<strong>of</strong>ficially scheduled rehearsal for which such ARTIST is not participating as a dancer,whether or not the Ballet Master is present, shall be paid the half-hour Overtime Rate foreach such half-hour or fraction there<strong>of</strong> in addition to ARTIST’s weekly rate (includingany other overtime compensation or ECA payment owed to such ARTIST).b) Any ARTIST appointed by the Artistic Staff or their representative to take charge <strong>of</strong> an<strong>of</strong>ficially scheduled rehearsal in addition to participating as a dancer, whether or not theBallet Master is present, shall receive an ECA payment as per Section IV B 3, <strong>of</strong> thisBasic Agreement. in addition to dancer’s weekly rate (including any other overtime orECA compensation owed to such ARTIST).c) The ARTIST’s uncompensated rehearsal hours shall not be utilized in lieu <strong>of</strong> payment forperforming the service <strong>of</strong> replacement for Ballet Master.D. PER-DIEM RUN-OUT MEALS1) On any day in which the ARTIST is required to be more than thirty (30) miles from the incitydeparture point ARTISTs shall receive, the U.S. State Department rates listed at thattime.a) All <strong>Artists</strong>, either weekly and/or per performance, shall receive per diem and/or mealmoney two (2) working days prior to departure.b) In the event BSJ approves an ARTIST’s request to use his/her personal vehicle for anyrun-out and/or tour or BSJ requests an ARTIST to use his/her personal vehicle for anyrun-out and/or tour, BSJ will reimburse the ARTIST at the mileage rate prescribed by theIRS in addition to tolls and parking expense.c) If an ARTIST notifies BSJ in writing during the first week that a run-out and/or tourschedule is posted that the ARTIST will use his/her personal vehicle for said run-outand/or tour, BSJ will not be responsible to reimburse said ARTIST for mileage unlessBSJ requires ARTIST to use his/her own vehicle.d) If an ARTIST under any type <strong>of</strong> employment contract is required to travel or be outsidethe City <strong>of</strong> Origination at any time during the week which is neither a Rehearsal Weeknor a Performance Week, he/she shall be paid not less than the applicable per diem foreach day (beginning at midnight and ending the following midnight) or part there<strong>of</strong>, andBSJ will provide and pay for hotel accommodations. Overseas and/or foreign per diemshall be negotiated and contracted on a separate Overseas Rider.25
