Seniority minimum compensation based on each ARTISTs’ year <strong>of</strong> employment to date withthe company shall become effective as <strong>of</strong> the date <strong>of</strong> this Basic Agreement. Each seniorityincrement earned from 2001-2002 forward shall be added to ARTIST’s wage without regardto other pre-existing over-scale rates. Any over scale, per diems or any other payment fromBSJ shall not be credited towards satisfaction <strong>of</strong> this seniority minimum. An ARTISTemployed in a season who is re-engaged for any length <strong>of</strong> time in the following season shallbe due the seniority minimum as defined above. ARTIST’s shall be permitted at least onecontract year’s break in service without loss <strong>of</strong> seniority status.2) OvertimeAn hourly rate <strong>of</strong> pay equal to:3) Exceptional Circumstance Allowance2010-11$40.94In addition to all other compensation (minimum weekly compensation, overtime, etc.), whichmay be due to the ARTIST:4) Severance and Exit Pay2010-11$46.80When an ARTIST who has been employed on a guaranteed employment basis by BSJ forfive (5)* years leaves the ARTIST shall receive one hundred per cent (100%) week’sMinimum Compensation, per year <strong>of</strong> employment for service <strong>of</strong> up to fifteen (15) years. Ifthere is a break in service <strong>of</strong> not more than one (1) year, ARTIST shall not lose credit for pastyears <strong>of</strong> employment.*See Addendum 3 for 2010-11 contract year5) Delegate PayBSJ shall split $50 per week <strong>of</strong> the contract period between the Delegates elected by theARTISTs.
