E. PRO-RATA DAYSIf the ARTIST shall be guaranteed not less than one (1) full Performance Week, then BSJ shallhave the right, on two (2) weeks prior notice, to engage the ARTIST for not more than three (3)consecutive days in the week immediately preceding or succeeding any such guaranteed fullPerformance Week at a pro rata amount <strong>of</strong> the ARTIST’s agreed upon weekly compensation forPerformance Weeks calculated on the basis <strong>of</strong> one-sixth (1/6th) there<strong>of</strong> for each such day in suchweek. It is further agreed that the fourth (4th) day or a fifth (5th) performance "triggers" a fullPerformance Week.F. TOURINGShould BSJ decide to include any number <strong>of</strong> ARTISTs as part <strong>of</strong> an established tour, BSJ willnegotiate with AGMA in advance <strong>of</strong> the tour those matters directly relating to subsistenceallowance, transportation arrangements, and participation in the tour.G. LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS/OUTREACH1) Compensationa) During Lay-<strong>of</strong>fAll ARTISTs who participate in a Lecture Demonstration/ Outreach/ Student Matinee ata time when the ARTIST is not otherwise engaged by BSJ shall be compensated at theirindividual In-Rehearsal week rate pro-rated on an hourly basis in half (1/2) hourincrements with a two (2) hour minimum for any rehearsal hour that takes place on a dayprior to the Lecture Demonstration/Outreach/Student Matinee. The LectureDemonstration/Outreach/Student Matinee Performance shall be compensated at the ECArate for a minimum <strong>of</strong> three (3) hours to be paid in half (1/2) hour increments. At no timewill an ARTIST be given the option to rehearse in preparation <strong>of</strong> a LectureDemonstration/Outreach/Student Matinees without being compensated as outlined in thisparagraph.b) During contracted employment weeks Compensation for all time devoted to such workshall follow all conditions, rates and fees governing rehearsal set forth in this Agreement.c) All ARTISTs will receive a minimum <strong>of</strong> two (2) hours <strong>of</strong> rehearsal for a LectureDemonstration/ Outreach/Student Matinee2) ARTISTs will not be asked to rehearse more than three (3) hours on the day <strong>of</strong> the LectureDemonstration/Outreach.3) All rehearsal, performance and travel calls will be scheduled in accordance with theapplicable In-Theater conditions as outlined in the Basic Agreement, including, but notlimited to rest spans, overtime and allowable consecutive hours <strong>of</strong> work.4) BSJ may schedule an earlier starting time than what is set forth in this Basic Agreement atthe sole discretion <strong>of</strong> the ARTISTs by submitting the request in writing to the San FranciscoArea Representative no less than one (1) week in advance <strong>of</strong> the Lecture15
