Recommendation <strong>for</strong> allocation of <strong>Gas</strong> to <strong>Captive</strong> <strong>Power</strong> <strong>Plant</strong>s are to be given by CEA/MoP to MoP & NG.CEA had vide letter dated 3 rd November, 2009 advised the Regional <strong>Power</strong> Survey Offices(RPSOs) of CEA tocollect the required in<strong><strong>for</strong>mat</strong>ion. In<strong><strong>for</strong>mat</strong>ion from only a few industries has been received. It is requested thatin<strong><strong>for</strong>mat</strong>ion <strong>for</strong> gas <strong>based</strong> power plants having installed capacity 1 MW & above (as per enclosed pro<strong>for</strong>ma) inrespect of existing captive power plants which are already existing as well as awaiting commissioning may be sent toCEA. This in<strong><strong>for</strong>mat</strong>ion is urgently required in connection with compilation and <strong>for</strong>mulation of our recommendationsto Ministry of <strong>Power</strong>/Ministry of Petroleum and Natural <strong>Gas</strong>.
