Students may not register for acourse after the first meeting of a class.Certificate of CompletionReceive a Certificate of Completion after• Satisfactorily complete twelve paralegalcourses (5 required & 7 electives)• Attend 80% of all class sessions• Receive a grade of C or better in eachrequired course• Earn an overall grade point average of3.0 (B) upon graduation.Students with an overall A- average graduatewith distinction.Students who receive less than C in arequired course will be placed onacademic probation and may not registerfor additional courses until they receivea grade of C or better in that course.Some General Information• No exemptions to college creditrequirements.• Students must fulfill certificaterequirements in effect at the time of theiradmission to the program.• Required courses must be completedsatisfactorily before students can registerfor elective courses.• Those who do not complete requiredcourse work or take the final exam receivea failing grade unless a compelling reasonis presented to the instructor. A studentwith an Incomplete cannot receive aCertificate of Completion.• Students wishing to register for DayAccelerated Program must be interviewed.• All materials are included in tuition.Textbooks are not included.Students who are not computer literateshould take CP-135 Intensive ComputerWorkshop. Evening courses meet once a weekfor 12-14 sessions in the Fall and Springsemesters, and twice a week for 12-14sessions in the summer semester.COMBINATION PROGRAMRegister for both evening and weekendclasses. Register early, Space is limited.FALL AND SPRING ONLYACCELERATEDWEEKEND PROGRAMThe Weekend Accelerated CertificateProgram can be completed in eight months.Students enter in the Fall semester. Coursesare offered for eight or nine sessions, from9:00 -12:00 noon and from 1:00 - 4:00 pm,on Saturdays and Sundays.ACCELERATED DAY PROGRAMComplete the day program in approximatelyfour and a half months. Classes meet daily,Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to2:00 p.m. Students must be interviewed bythe coordinator before registering.LEHMAN COLLEGECAMPUS PROGRAMThis four (4) part combination weekend/evening program is offered exclusively onthe Lehman College campus.
