IntroductionWatercare provides water and wastewater services to allcustomers in the areas illustrated on the map on page 2.Papakura is serviced by United Water.Water, wastewater, trade waste and service charges varywithin the Auckland region. These charges were set byprevious councils and water utilities and remain the sameuntil 30 June 2011. To see what specific charges apply to you,simply choose the coloured tab that corresponds to your area.Watercare provides other services. A “wastewater connection financial assistance target rate” ischarged to a small number of specific properties in the PointWells and Jackson Crescent areas and appears on the AucklandCouncil rates bill. The charges for otherservices have been set by previous councils and water utilitiesand remain the same until 30 June 2011. These charges can befound on our website at www.watercare.co.nz.Terms and ConditionsInvoicing and PaymentWe will send you a bill for the amounts you owe on a regular basis.Frequency of invoicing varies within the Auckland region. Your billwill include a breakdown of how these amounts are calculated.Our bills are payable by the due date, which varies within theAuckland region and is outlined for each separate area underthe relevant tab.Discounts and late payment charges vary within the Aucklandregion and are outlined where applicable in this document.If you have trouble paying your bill please contact us. We willensure that any customer that is unable to pay their bill can discussoptions with us before we try to recover any outstanding payment.TermsThis Water and Wastewater Charges booklet is subject to anychanges that Watercare is entitled to make in accordance withour Terms.
