Thesecompetencies are representative of the range and cognitive and affective complexity of futureSoldier and leader skill requirements.Perhaps the most fundamental requirement of future Soldiers will be acquiring and masteringtactical and technical competence. This is the very essence of the profession of soldiering and anecessity for success in future engagements, battles, and campaigns. Future Soldiers mustpossess the array of tactical and technical expertise needed to lead or participate in a future forceoptimized for the full spectrum operations. The <strong>Army</strong> must rapidly disseminate lessons learnedto the Soldiers, as future tactics evolve in response to changing equipment and operational106
