This constitutesa change <strong>of</strong> <strong>legal</strong> personality with<strong>in</strong> the mean<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> the Fee Regulation.Case 1: where LEA is the only company that has registered under REACHa) LEA’s change <strong>of</strong> <strong>legal</strong> personality <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> LEC needs <strong>to</strong> be updated <strong>in</strong> REACH-ITus<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>legal</strong> entity change functionality.b) Evidence <strong>to</strong> be provided: evidence illustrat<strong>in</strong>g this development such as the sharepurchase agreement.c) LEC will be charged a s<strong>in</strong>gle fee described <strong>in</strong> Table 3 <strong>of</strong> the Fee Regulation.Case 2: Where LEA and LEB both hold registrations for different substancesa) In order <strong>to</strong> benefit from both LEA’s and LEB’s registrations LEA, LEB and LEC willneed <strong>to</strong> update the <strong>changes</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>legal</strong> personality <strong>of</strong> both LEA and LEB <strong>in</strong> REACH-ITus<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>legal</strong> entity change functionality.b) Evidence <strong>to</strong> be provided: evidence illustrat<strong>in</strong>g this development such as the sharepurchase agreement.c) LEC will be charged two <strong>legal</strong> entity change fees, one fee for tak<strong>in</strong>g over LEB’sregistrations and one fee for tak<strong>in</strong>g over LEA’s registrations.Case 3: Where LEA and LEB hold some registrations for the same substancea) As case 2 above. LEC will be charged two <strong>legal</strong> entity change fees, one fee fortak<strong>in</strong>g over LEB’s registrations and one fee for tak<strong>in</strong>g over LEA’s registrations.b) <strong>How</strong>ever for those registrations made by LEA an LEB for the same substance LECwill only receive one <strong>of</strong> the registrations (see REACH-IT Industry User Manual part18 for further details).c) LEC may need <strong>to</strong> update registration where acquisition <strong>of</strong> LEA and LEB may result<strong>in</strong> a change <strong>of</strong> <strong>to</strong>nnage band. An update fee will be charged unless the orig<strong>in</strong>alregistration <strong>of</strong> either LEA or LEB already covers the relevant <strong>to</strong>nnage band6
