The land slopes steeply to the river and there are extensive viewsfrom Christchurch Road and from the Golf Course southwards to theBournemouth conurbation. These views are curtailed to the east bysignificant woodland planting around Dudsbury Camp which forms aprominent, historic feature alongside the river.
