historic village has been considerably extended from the its riversidecore southwards to the A350.A golf course and a series of large fish farm lakes lie to the east of thesettlement. The undeveloped part of this character area is also adverselyaffected by the presence of the busy A.350 and the A31 trunk road andthe 400kv overhead pylon line.
