TemplatesCHAPTER 9TEMPLATESOne of the most useful tools of iReport is the Template Chooser (Figure 9-1), from which the user can pick a template, a kindof pre-built report. Templates can be used as the base for new reports with no further changes, and they can be used as a modelto which fields, textfields and groups can be added in the Report Wizard.Figure 9-1Template chooserWhen the Template Chooser pops up, it scans the directory /ireport/templates, looking for JRXML files. Inaddition, all the paths specified in the options as template directories or as template files are scanned in the same way. Thevalid JRXML files found are proposed as possible templates.
