Please rememberthat all Primary School children go outsidefor recesses, and they need to bedressed for the weather. If you haven’tsent your child with a hood or hat oncold or rainy days, they will notice itwhen they get outside. Teachers onrecess duty want to keep your childrensafe and healthy. When it is rainy orcold, we have a rule—nothing on thehead, stay under the shed. It is almostalways fun to be outside when there istime and space for play, no matter theweather. It isn’t the weather outside thatcauses us to catch a cold, most likely theopposite. While outside, the children getfresh air, move about and stay warmfrom that movement. Sitting back inclass and getting chilled from wetclothes or a wet head can contribute toheat loss. Dressing sensibly for theweather only helps the children enjoythe outdoors more.Parent-Teacher ConferencesThank you for your time and interest atour recent parent-teacher conferences.
