文 化 服 務 Cultural Services保 良 局 歷 史 博 物 館 成 立 於 一 九 九 八 年 , 位 於禮 頓 道 保 良 局 總 部 內 , 主 要 負 責 蒐 集 、 編整 、 保 護 和 復 修 本 局 的 文 物 檔 案 , 並 為 公 眾人 士 提 供 展 覽 導 賞 、 資 料 查 閱 及 講 座 等 服 務 。Since its opening in 1998, the Po Leung Kuk Museum (The Museum), locatedat the Po Leung Kuk’s Headquarters on Leighton Road, has been activelyconducting acquisition, classification, preservation and conservation ofthe Kuk’s historical records, as well as providing a range of cultural servicesincluding guided tours, reference research and seminars for the public.年 內 本 館 透 過 以 下 途 徑 蒐 集 與 本 局 歷 史 有 關的 文 物 檔 案 , 以 存 檔 作 永 久 保 存 , 包 括 :• 接 收 舊 檔 案 .. 接 收 由 本 局 各 部 門 移 交 的 舊檔 案 , 經 鑑 定 後 進 行 編 目 , 保 存 於 館 內 。• 拓 印 碑 文 : 年 內 為 結 束 服 務 的 單 位 保 良 局嚴 志 教 育 服 務 中 心 進 行 拓 碑 , 以 存 檔 作 為紀 錄 。• 攝 錄 工 作 : 屆 內 曾 攝 錄 的 開 幕 及 慶 典 活 動共 二 十 二 個 , 影 片 經 剪 輯 後 製 成 光 碟 , 並贈 與 出 席 活 動 的 董 事 會 成 員 留 念 。 另 外 ,亦 為 結 束 服 務 的 保 良 局 嚴 志 教 育 服 務 中 心及 遷 址 的 保 良 局 陳 維 周 夫 人 紀 念 小 學 攝 錄其 外 觀 及 內 部 設 備 , 以 作 存 檔 紀 錄 。Highlight of The YearAcquisition and Management of Historical RecordsThe Museum continued to acquire and maintain historical records of theKuk for perpetual preservation through various means. Work during theyear included:• Collecting old files: Appraised, catalogued and preserved documentaryfiles collected from various departments.• Rubbings: Made rubbings of the tablets of the Po Leung Kuk YimChee Education Services Centre, which had been closed downduring the year.• Video recordings: A total of 22 opening and celebration ceremonieswere videotaped during the term. Edited video records were convertedto DVD format and distributed to Board Members. The exhibition features aselection of literature, photographs, souvenir programmes and tickets fromvarious fund-raising Cantonese Opera performances of the Kuk since the 1950s.為 配 合 本 局 教 育 服 務 六 十 五 周 年 , 本 館 於 展覽 廳 II 展 出 專 題 展 覽 「 保 良 局 教 育 服 務 的 歷史 及 發 展 」, 藉 此 回 顧 本 局 的 教 育 服 務 源 起 、各 類 教 育 機 構 的 開 辦 歷 程 , 以 至 現 時 的 教 育發 展 概 況 。本 館 為 各 保 良 局 屬 校 制 訂 新 學 年 學 生 及 家 長參 觀 博 物 館 時 間 表 , 由 館 內 職 員 提 供 導 賞 服務 , 藉 此 加 深 他 們 對 本 局 歷 史 的 認 識 , 並增 加 歸 屬 感 。 同 時 , 亦 邀 請 本 地 社 會 服 務 機構 , 包 括 長 者 中 心 、 青 少 年 中 心 及 復 康 中 心等 , 請 其 安 排 服 務 對 象 蒞 館 參 觀 。 本 館 並 為參 觀 團 體 播 放 影 片 《 保 良 今 昔 》, 介 紹 本 局 歷史 及 服 務 概 況 。To mark the 65th anniversary of the Kuk’s educational services, Exhibition HallII features a thematic exhibition – “The History and Development of Po LeungKuk Educational Services”. This exhibition aims to look back on the origins of theKuk’s educational services, the establishment of various educational institutionsas well as give an overview of the contemporary educational development.Receiving Visitors and Reference Research ServicesThe Museum scheduled guided tours for students and their parents ofKuk’s affiliated schools so as to help them better understand the Kuk’shistory and to foster their sense of belonging with the Kuk. The Museumalso invited local social service organizations, including elderly centres,youth centres and rehabilitation centres, to organize visits to the Museum.Visiting groups were shown the video clip ”Po Leung Story”, which gives anintroduction of the Kuk’s history and services.二 零 一 二 年 十 月 中 旬 , 稻 香 飲 食 文 化 博 物 館館 長 及 職 員 到 訪 參 觀 及 進 行 交 流 , 瞭 解 本 館展 覽 場 地 的 設 置 、 籌 備 展 覽 的 過 程 及 處 理 文物 檔 案 的 工 作 等 。In mid-October 2012, the Curator and staff of the Tao Heung Museum of FoodCulture paid a visit to the Museum to exchange experience and ideas. 文 化 服 務 Cultural Services十 月 中 旬 , 接 待 東 華 學 院 修 讀 “The developmentof non-profit organization in Hong Kong” 的 工商 管 理 學 系 及 護 理 系 學 生 , 闡 述 本 局 的 源 起 、發 展 及 現 時 的 服 務 概 況 等 。In mid-October, the Museum received students studying BusinessAdministration, Nursing and those studying the course “The developmentof non-profit organizations in Hong Kong” from the Tung Wah College.They were introduced the origin and the development of the Kuk, as wellas the contemporary services that the Kuk provided.十 一 月 初 , 接 待 香 港 城 市 大 學 中 國 文 化 中 心的 師 生 , 詳 細 介 紹 館 藏 文 獻 及 文 物 , 並 配 合課 程 要 求 , 深 入 講 述 留 局 婦 女 的 背 景 、 局 中的 生 活 及 離 局 安 排 等 , 讓 學 生 瞭 解 早 期 婦 女在 社 會 中 擔 當 的 角 色 。The Museum also received tutors and students from the Chinese CivilisationCentre of the City University of Hong Kong in early November. We provided adetailed briefing on the Museum’s collections. To fit in their course requirements,we explained in detail about the background of the women staying at ourHeadquarters, their life in the Kuk and the dismissal arrangements so as to givethem a better understanding of women’s role in society in the past.十 二 月 初 , 應 天 主 教 香 港 教 區 檔 案 處 之 請 ,接 待 三 十 多 位 來 自 新 加 坡 及 馬 來 西 亞 等 地 的神 職 人 員 , 介 紹 本 局 的 歷 史 及 發 展 , 並 引 領眾 人 參 觀 文 獻 儲 藏 室 , 以 瞭 解 本 館 保 護 及 復修 檔 案 的 方 法 。In response to an invitation by the Hong Kong Catholic Diocesan Archives,the Museum received more than 30 clergies from Singapore and Malaysiain early December. We introduced the Kuk’s history and development, andguided them to our archival repository to introduce our way of preservingand conserving archives.此 外 , 訪 問 本 局 的 海 內 外 團 體 亦 獲 安 排 參 觀博 物 館 , 藉 以 認 識 本 局 歷 史 及 發 展 概 況 。 屆內 接 待 的 訪 局 團 體 包 括 中 國 廣 東 省 清 遠 市 清新 縣 組 織 部 、 順 德 區 社 會 建 設 與 管 理 創 新 考察 團 、 佛 山 市 順 德 區 勒 流 街 道 考 察 團 、 外 國記 者 會 餐 舞 會 表 演 樂 隊 INXS、 中 央 統 戰 部 及中 國 婦 女 發 展 基 金 會 等 。In addition, overseas delegations had also been arranged to visit the Museumso as to understand more about the Kuk’s history and development. 長 者 透 過 欣 賞 歷 史 照 片 憶 舊 事 、 話 當 年 。The elders recalled their golden years through thehistorical photographs.博 物 館 參 與 「2012 國 際 檔 案 日 」 以 宣 揚 保 護 歷 史 檔 案 意 識 。The Museum participated in the “2012 International Archives Day” to promote the importanceof preservation of historical archives.博 物 館 為 曾 居 本 局 人 士 提 供 查 詢 服 務 , 追 溯其 留 局 時 的 檔 案 , 年 內 成 功 為 八 個 申 請 人 查得 所 需 資 料 。Record searching service provides archive information to people who werepreviously under the Kuk’s care. During the term, a total of eight applicantswere provided with the records they asked for.屆 內 本 館 曾 接 待 本 地 及 海 外 參 觀 者 逾 七 千 四 百人 次 、 參 觀 團 體 逾 六 十 四 個 , 以 及 研 究 資 料 的海 內 外 學 者 六 位 。 自 開 館 至 今 , 參 觀 總 人 次 已逾 十 萬 零 三 千 二 百 人 次 。The Museum received over 7,400 visitors from local and overseas, 64visiting groups and six local and overseas researchers throughout the year.It has a visitor record of over 103,200 since its opening.博 物 館 應 康 樂 及 文 化 事 務 署 的 邀 請 , 參 與 於二 零 一 二 年 五 月 十 九 日 及 二 十 日 舉 行 的 「 二 零一 二 香 港 國 際 博 物 館 日 」 活 動 , 並 與 多 間 文 博單 位 合 作 舉 辦 各 項 活 動 。Promotion ActivitiesThe Museum, invited by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department,participated in the “International Museum Day 2012, Hong Kong” heldon 19 and 20 May 2012. Collaborating with other museums and culturalinstitutions in Hong Kong, a series of special programmes were organizedfor the public.六 月 初 , 本 館 參 與 由 香 港 檔 案 學 會 有 限 公 司首 次 舉 辦 的 「 二 零 一 二 國 際 檔 案 日 」 活 動 , 於香 港 大 學 專 業 進 修 學 院 保 良 局 社 區 書 院 設 置展 覽 攤 位 , 展 出 本 館 的 特 藏 檔 案 , 與 其 他 檔案 機 構 一 同 推 廣 歷 史 檔 案 的 重 要 性 , 喚 起 市民 大 眾 保 護 歷 史 檔 案 的 意 識 , 並 揭 示 歷 史 檔案 在 學 術 研 究 、 文 化 傳 承 及 社 會 演 進 中 所 扮演 的 重 要 角 色 。In early June, the Museum was invited by the Hong Kong Archives SocietyCo. Ltd. to participate in the first “2012 International Archives Day” stagedin HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Community College. A booth was set upto display the Museum’s special collection of archives along with otherarchival institutions. The Museum aimed to promote the importanceof historical archives, to arouse public awareness of the protection ofhistorical archives, and to reveal the important role that historical archivesplay in academic research, cultural heritage and social evolution.本 館 將 最 新 資 訊 刊 載 於 《 今 日 保 良 》 季 刊 之內 , 並 定 期 更 新 網 頁 , 向 大 眾 展 示 館 內 的 最新 動 向 和 活 動 消 息 。 另 於 《 明 報 周 刊 》 及 《 東周 刊 》 兩 份 雜 誌 內 刊 登 局 務 專 輯 文 化 篇 , 介 紹館 藏 特 色 及 最 新 動 態 消 息 , 以 作 宣 傳 推 廣 。Updated information of the Museum was published in the Kuk’s quarterlynewsletter – Po Leung Kuk Today. Together with the Kuk’s website, the publicwill be informed of the latest events and development of the Museum. Herinvolvement had helped promote the Society and enhance the professionalexchange between the Museum and other local archival institutions.15th Anniversary Activities二 零 一 三 年 一 月 適 逢 本 館 開 館 十 五 周 年 , 在館 內 舉 辦 一 系 列 活 動 以 慶 祝 盛 事 。In celebration of the Museum’s 15th anniversary, a series of specialprogrammes were launched in January 2013.是 次 比 賽 主 要 讓 中 學 生 深 入 認 識 本 局 歷 史 ,並 發 揮 寫 作 才 能 。 本 館 邀 得 香 港 中 文 大 學中 國 語 言 及 文 學 系 樊 善 標 教 授 、 資 深 作 家余 非 女 士 及 香 港 浸 會 大 學 講 師 唐 睿 先 生 擔 任評 審 , 於 高 中 及 初 中 兩 組 中 , 分 別 選 出 冠軍 、 亞 軍 及 季 軍 各 一 名 、 優 異 獎 五 名 。 頒 獎典 禮 於 二 零 一 三 年 一 月 十 九 日 舉 行 , 由 康 樂及 文 化 事 務 署 助 理 署 長 吳 志 華 博 士 主 禮 。 所有 得 獎 作 品 安 排 於 本 館 關 帝 廳 內 展 出 一 個 月 。Picture Writing Competition for the Secondary Schools StudentsThe Competition aimed to enable secondary school students to deepentheir understanding about the Kuk’s history whilst develop their writingskills. The Museum invited Professor FAN Sin-piu from the Department ofChinese Language and Literature, the Chinese University of Hong Kong,Ms YU Fei, noted Hong Kong author and Mr TONG Yui, Lecturer of the HongKong Baptist University, to be our honorable judges. The judges had selectedthe First, Second, and Third Prize winners as well as five Merit Award winnersfrom both Junior and Senior Categories. The Prize Presentation Ceremony,officiated by Dr Louis NG Chi-wa, Assistant Director, Leisure and CulturalServices Department, was held on 19 January 2013. 本 館 於 一 月 五 日 及 廿 六 日 舉 辦 四 節 特 別 公 眾導 賞 及 書 籍 釘 裝 工 作 坊 活 動 , 參 加 者 先 獲 安排 參 觀 館 內 各 個 專 題 展 覽 , 介 紹 歷 史 悠 久 的對 聯 、 碑 刻 及 瓷 相 ; 導 賞 後 設 工 作 坊 示 範 中式 書 籍 的 釘 裝 方 法 , 讓 參 與 的 市 民 體 會 館 員製 作 文 獻 複 製 本 的 工 作 。Guided Tours and WorkshopsOn 5 and 26 January 2013, four sessions of special guided tours and bookbindingworkshops were organized for the public. The participants were guidedthrough the Museum to visit each thematic exhibitions, along with introductionsof historical couplets, inscriptions and porcelain photographs. Workshops onbook-binding were arranged, demonstrating the traditional binding techniqueof Chinese books, letting the participants experience the process of duplicatinghistorical documents, which is usually done by the Museum staff.參 加 者 全 神 貫 注 地 學 做 書 籍 釘 裝 。The participants learnt to bind a book attentively.參 加 者 展 示 親 手 製 作 的 線 裝 筆 記 本 。The participants showed the notepads which were binding by their own.Staff Development本 館 著 重 員 工 的 專 業 培 訓 , 定 期 召 開 工 作 會議 , 讓 員 工 互 作 交 流 , 檢 討 各 人 的 工 作 進 度及 表 現 , 從 而 提 高 工 作 的 質 素 效 率 。 我 們 同時 鼓 勵 各 員 工 積 極 報 讀 與 工 作 有 關 的 課 程 、參 加 工 作 坊 及 講 座 , 藉 以 提 升 各 員 工 的 專 業知 識 與 技 能 , 期 能 發 揮 更 高 的 工 作 效 果 。 屆內 館 員 修 讀 「Photoshop 修 相 技 術 速 成 」 課程 , 以 提 升 運 用 電 腦 軟 件 修 飾 相 片 的 技 巧 。We attach great importance to the professional training of our staffmembers. Apart from having regular meetings to allow our staff to shareviews and experience and to review their work progress and performancein order to enhance work quality and efficiency, we also encourage themto attend work-related courses, workshops and seminars to upgrade theirprofessional knowledge and skills. This year, our staff had completed the“Photoshop Training Course” with a view to enhance the knowledge ofusing computer software in photo editing.Future Development在 未 來 的 日 子 , 本 館 會 繼 續 積 極 蒐 集 、 保 護及 復 修 本 局 的 文 物 檔 案 , 並 研 究 與 本 局 有 關的 歷 史 資 料 , 出 版 相 關 的 刊 物 , 以 豐 富 館藏 。 對 外 則 保 持 與 業 界 的 友 好 關 係 , 促 進 交流 合 作 , 冀 能 多 所 改 進 , 並 會 透 過 不 同 的 途徑 與 市 民 進 行 溝 通 。In the coming years, the Museum will continue to acquire, preserve,conserve and conduct research on archival records relating to the Kuk’sdevelopment, and will also publish monographs and other materials toenrich its holdings. The Museum strives to maintain a closer relationshipand engage in more co-operations with other archival institutions forfurther advancement.
