Recent housing development to the south and west of thevillage has brought forward the majority of sites identified in the firstAngus Local Plan and has resulted in a significant increase inpopulation.KEY ISSUE/DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY2. The strategy of the Dundee and Angus Structure Plan seeks todirect additional housing in the South Angus Housing Market Areatowards Monifieth and Carnoustie.
