CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM and SCHEDULE OF ITEM NUMBERS AND FEES - COMMUNITY NURSING SERVICESEffective for 28-day claim periods commencing with the new Deed of Standing Offer which comes into effect on 1 March 2010The Schedule of Fees and Item Numbers are to be used by all DVA-contracted Community Nursing Providers regardless of private, public or not-for-profit status.The fees for entitled persons with Exceptional Case status are determined through the Exceptional Case Unit on a case by case basis due to the individual care needs of theentitled person.The fees for Additional Travel are determined on a case by case basis due to the particular details of the travel undertaken to provide care to an entitled person.The fees for Palliative Care - Overnight Nursing are determined on a case by case basis based on the individual circumstances of the care required.The fees in the Schedule of Fees are exclusive of GST.
