The 96257-9 mounts into 1600 seriesstanchions or 1040 series surface back boxes for installation in outdoor applications wheresubstation can be subjected to harsh weather. The 96283 is used for connection to existing speaker and callbutton in retrofit applications when there is not enough required space to mount a 9628 unit or9629 board.
