Youth Program (Partners in Service)5.1 Assumption University (AU) Rotaract and <strong>Bangkok</strong>Christian College (BCC) Interact club activities,sponsored meetings and conferences were successfullycompleted.Regional Rotaract Conference.5.3 10 AU Rotaractors and 11 BCC Interactorsparticipated in Kids’ Day Out on 29th March, andanother 14 and 15 respectively helped us at Coins onSilom on 27th January.6. Humanitarian Grants ProgramMatching Grant Projects completed this year:MG 66548 HIV/AIDS Awareness: Project wascompleted in December 2011 after running for 3 years.<strong>The</strong> Grant provided education about HIV/AIDS to localcommunities in Phangnga and Ranong provinces, aswell as support to people living with HIV/AIDS. Totalvalue was THB 5.4 million. Status: Final report sent to<strong>Rotary</strong> International.MG 73285 – 15 Clean Drinking Water Systems (CDWS)for 15 schools in Banmi, Lopburi. Value: THB 1.3million.MG with Japan District 2670 for a tsunami relief projectin Japan. THB 225,900 contributed from RCBS last year.Ongoing Matching Grant projects:MG 74470 – 17 CDWS for 17 schools in Banmi, Lopburi.Value: THB 1.4 million. Status: Systems installed andproject almost completed.MG 75724 – 16 CDWS for 16 schools in Angthong.Value: THB 1.4 million. Status: Systems to be installedshortly. Likely inauguration in August <strong>2012</strong> withJapanese partners.MG 77279 – 20 CDWS for 20 schools in Singburi andSaraburi. Value: THB 1.9 million. Status: Awaiting RIapproval.7. Polio PlusOur <strong>Club</strong> participated in 2 Polio Plus events duringDecember 2011 and January <strong>2012</strong>.8. Educational Program<strong>Club</strong> on several occasions this year. A delegation fromour <strong>Club</strong> also visited the Chulalongkorn Peace Centrein April <strong>2012</strong> and members <strong>of</strong> our club participated inthe graduation <strong>of</strong> students at a ceremony in May <strong>2012</strong>.9.
