Withdrawal/Enrollment• NO WITHDRAWAL orENROLLMENT AS YOU LIKE!!• Deadlines:– Enrollment – Week 1 (5 Mar 10)– Withdrawal – Week 4 (26 Mar 10)• Check with me!!• What is the consequence?FAILURE!!!!
Withdrawal/Enrollment• Must complete the <strong>EFY</strong> (200 credits) BEFORE2 nd year• No “extra units”• Max. 100 credits per sem

Plagiarism
What happens if you fail?• Supplementary exam??• ONLY for Eng Phys 100, Eng Chem 100, EngMath 120, Eng Math 140• If not, repeat the unit• This means that YOU WILL BEDELAYED, you will not graduate within 4years
Academic Status• Good Standing, Conditional and Terminated• General criteria for Termination:– Multiple failures, with low averages– Failed multiple attempts• You can, however, Appeal against Termination– Submit within 10 days after results announced
• Mandatory for Students on Conditional toparticipate in the Academic Mentorshipprogramme• Academic Mentorship Meeting form – compileand submit at end of semester• 1 step away from Termination!!!
Conceded <strong>Year</strong> Pass (CYP)• NO conceded passes• CYP only for 2 nd semester in the <strong>EFY</strong>• Conditions in general– Only 1 failure above 40%, CWA above 60– You may have to switch majors• Eg, Conceded pass in Eng Mech 100 – you can’t do Civil& Construction/Mechanical
