Erasing the Error LogWhen you no longer need the error log information, you can erasethe entries.To erase the error log entries:1. Press QUICKSTART while any error description is scrollingacross the display.2. Continue to maintain light pressure on the key until themessage HOLD TO CLEAR ERRORS scrolls off the display.3. When you release Quickstart, the message NO ERRORS willappear in the display if the error log has been deleted.Important: You cannot retrieve the error log once you havedeleted it. You may want to resolve any issues you areexperiencing with the equipment before erasing the error log.4. Press RESET to return to the Precor banner.User ID Entry with CSAFE EquipmentThe equipment is fully compatible with CSAFE protocols. Whenthe equipment is connected to a CSAFE master device, the user isprompted to press ENTER and begin an identification process.The user ID is displayed as five zeros and indicates the startingpoint. The following table describes key functions while in CSAFEmode.Table 8. CSAFE access keysKeypad DescriptionNumber keypad Use the number keys to enter a user ID. The numberthat is pressed appears on the right. As the usercontinues, the numbers fill in the display from right toleft. When all five numbers are in place, the usermust press ENTER or OK to submit the user ID.CLEAR orBACKENTER or OKRESET orPAUSE/RESETErases individual numbers in the user ID from right toleft.Submits the user ID.Note: User ID entry is bypassed when the userenters five zeros. No workout statistics are recorded.Resets the display to the banner.A message appears on the display and indicates when the user IDis accepted by the CSAFE master device.
