Treadmill: Changing Remote ControlAccessImportant: To affect this setting, the treadmill must be connectedto a computer and you will need to be familiar with CSAFEcommands.When you enable this program, you can set a user’s speed andincline through a computer software program that interfaces withthe CSAFE port on the treadmill.The default factory setting is set to DISABLED. To change thissetting, perform the following steps:1. At the REMOTE SPEED CONTROL prompt, press OK. Usethe navigational arrow keys to alternate between the twoselections.Setting DescriptionENABLED Lets you set the speed and incline for individual usersand their selected program using CSAFE commandsthrough a computer connection.DISABLED Disconnects remote access so you cannot use theremote capabilities of a CSAFE connection. Youwould also use this setting when the treadmill is notconnected to a computer.EFX: Changing the Auto-Level SettingYou can set a specific ramp incline so that the EFX automaticallyreturns to it at the end of a workout session. Whatever incline youset, the EFX ramp returns to the setting if a user continuespedaling, once the program session has ended, and pressesRESET to return to the <strong>Precor</strong> banner.Note: This setting is available on equipment with adjustable ramps.Important: If you use this feature, connecting the optional poweradapter is recommended. Instruct users about the auto-levelingfeature and ask that they hold onto a stationary handrail with onehand while the equipment automatically moves to the set incline.1. At the SET CROSSRAMP AUTO- LEVEL prompt, press OK.2. XRAMP n appears, where n is the ramp incline setting. Somedisplays only show a number without prefacing it with XRAMP.Use the navigational arrow keys to select the desired rampincline setting from 1 to 20.3. When you are ready, press OK to accept the displayed settingand move to the next feature. For other options, refer tothe table in Accessing Club Programming Mode and Changingthe Settings.2.
