Choosing a LanguageThe equipment can display user prompts, text, and user entries inseveral different languages. When the equipment is shipped fromthe factory, the default language is English.Note: Programming prompts are not affected by languageselection. The prompts in this section continue to appear inEnglish.To choose a language:1. At the SELECT LANGUAGE prompt, press OK. Use thenavigational arrow keys to choose a language.2. Press OK again to accept the displayed setting and move to thenext feature.Selecting a U.S. Standard or MetricDisplayThe equipment can display measurements in either Metric or U.S.Standard. The default factory setting is U.S. Standard.To change the display measurement:1. At the SELECT UNITSprompt, press OK.Use the navigational arrow keys to select a unit of measure ( USor METRIC).CAUTION: If you change the Unit of Measure display on atreadmill, be sure to check the speed setting to verify that it iscorrect.2.
