INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR THE WP5/10/20/30/70 WEIGH PLATFORMUSED WITH IJ 70 MAILING MACHINE12Prior to connecting the Easyweigh Weigh Platform, turn off the base unit and if installed and powered, theMixed Mail Feeder.Take the Weigh Platform (WP) out of the packaging.Prior to installing or using the WP, locate and remove the RED loadcell transit screw and labelwhich is fitted on the underneath the WP. Retain this screw as it must be used when the WPis moved or returned for repair.3The Licence Numbers allow the settings of the standard Normal mode (AN1 code) and/or Differentialweighing Mode (AN2 code): authorization, status and settings for the maximum value capacity.Stick the label with the AN1 (and AN2 code if applicable) activation codes at the back of the WPmodel. The self-adhesive label is at the bottom of the document which is delivered with the WP(inserted in the pouch outside of the box).WP30/70WP5/WP10/WP20WP serialnumber : *410411001211*AN1 wp : 2032719505 capacity: 10 lbsAN1 wp : 229919721 capacity: 5 lbs4Connect the WP to the nine pin connector port 2 shownby the arrow at the back of the mailing machine, &tighten the two screws.If the port 2 is already used by another device, pleaserefer to the chapter "Serial setup" in "Supervisor mode"section to assign another port to the WP.56Remove any items on the WP, then turn on the base unit power switch.- Activate Supervisor mode by pressing SUPERV ;- The screen below will appear:PIN NUMBER ?****- Enter the supervisor code (4 digits) and press OK or OK key: the main menu in the supervisormode will appear.
