• level and level_2The parameter level is the current trigger level to be used for the next data acquisition. The values arethe same for level 2. For simplicity, the SetBoard() routine in app_supp.c accepts 8-bit trigger levelvalues for all CompuScope models. Valid level values range from 0 to 255. Full Scale voltage is setusing a level of 255, minus full scale using a level of 0 and 0 Volts using a level of 128.To convert from a logical level value to a voltage, the formula is:voltage = (value- 128)/128 × (input range of trigger source)The gage_trigger_control_2 API subroutine actually accepts 8-bit trigger level values for 8-bitCompuScopes and 12-bit values for CompuScopes with more than 8 bit resolution. For programmerswho want to bypass the SetBoard routine and use gage_trigger_control_2 directly, 12-bit triggerlevel values range from 0 to 4095. To convert from a 12-bit logical level value to a voltage, theformula is:For 12, 14, & 16 Bit CompuScopes:voltage = (value- 2048)/2048 × (input range of trigger source)• depthThe parameter depth is the trigger or sample depth for the data acquisition. These are the onlyconstants defined, but in fact, any numerical integer value can be used.
