The Middle Creekgenerating station of the Dasque‐Middle Project will be connected to the 66 kV bus of the SKAsubstation via a 19 km customer‐owned 66 kV transmission line. The Dasque Creek generating stationswill have no direct link to the system, but will be connected to the Middle Creek generating station via a2.5 km customer‐owned 66 kV transmission line. The proposed maximum power to be injected into theBCH system from the proposed generating stations is 19.7 MW.ooMiddle Creek generating station consists of one 8 MW unit approximately 19 km from SKA.Dasque Creek generating station consists of two identical units of 6 MW approximately 21.5 kmfrom SKA.This report identifies the required system modifications for interconnecting the proposed Dasque‐Middle Hydro Project. These modifications are as follows:Construct 69 kV line position at SKA including circuit breaker, disconnects, surge arrestor, wavetrap and CVTProtection relay panel with SEL relaysTelecommunication requirement is limited to a power line carrier from the customer. It isassumed that the SKA RTU has enough points for all analog and digital signals this projectrequires.© British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority, 2011. All rights reserved. iii
