For example, you will need to define an AutoSys job that will depend on the conditionof a mainframe job that runs through CA7.The condition field for the AutoSys job will be defined using jil similar to the one below:insert_job: cnct_depjob_type: cmachine: localhostcondition: success(MFJOBNAME^CA7)When this job gets submitted to the database successfully, AutoSys will send an externaldependency request to Connect telling it that it wants to receive the all JOBINIT and JOBTERMmessages for that particular job. Thesyntax of the command is as follows:auto_cnct –a -s -j -c -p ‘parameters’ –dNote: A description of these parameters and examples are available in the Unicenter AutoSysJob Management Connect Option Installation and Administration Guide underAppendix C.You will need to define an AutoSys job using jil and specify this command in the commandattribute of the AutoSys job. An example is below:insert_job: cnct_jobjob_type: ccommand: auto_cnct –a A71SENF –s CA7 –j PINVM001 –c RUN –p ‘SCHID=1’ -dmachine: Note: You do not need to specify the owner of the job in the job attribute to be a user on themainframe machine.
