On the back of this letter, youwill find a table indicating the foreign societies and performance periods for which monies are being distributed.I’m proud to announce that our international revenue this February is up 18% from February of 2011. This is aclear sign of the worldwide vitality of ASCAP music – your music.This distribution marks the first time that the Canadian performing rights organization, SOCAN, has distributedinternational performance royalties for satellite radio play. This means an extra $5 million to distribute to ASCAPmembers, covering Canadian performances between 2006 and 2010. In addition, SOCAN sent us $5 millionin supplemental radio revenue that we’re distributing this month. The February 2012 distribution also reflects$130,000 in revenues received from our counterparts in Mexico, Venezuela and Romania for the retransmission ofAmerican cable TV shows.You may have noticed that your royalty statement contains less paper than usual. It’s all part of ASCAP’s continuingefforts to minimize our impact on the environment. From now on, mailed statements will only include the coverpage and the appropriate summary page for each member, along with your check or direct deposit confirmation,current distribution total and year-to-date earnings total.
