MyNext Move has tasks, skills, salary information, and more for over 900 different careers. Users can find careersthrough keyword search; by browsing industries that employ different types of workers; or through theO*NET <strong>Interest</strong> Profiler, a tool that offers personalized career suggestions based on a person's interests andlevel of work experience.My Next Move is developed and maintained by the National Center for O*NET Development, under thesponsorship of the US Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration.The O*NET <strong>Interest</strong> Profiler is one of several O*NET <strong>Career</strong> Exploration Tools developed for careercounseling, career planning, and career exploration. The O*NET <strong>Interest</strong> Profiler is a tool designed to assessindividual's vocational interests. The web-based version of the tool features 60 items that measure six types ofHolland (1997) occupational interests: Realistic (R), Investigative (I), Artistic (A), Social (S), Enterprising (E),and Conventional (C), collectively called RIASEC. Click on “Tell us what you like to do.” The participants will answer a variety of questions about their likes and dislikes. This takes about15 minutes. Their results are categorized as realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, andconventional with the option to learn more about each of the categories and print their results. Participants select a job zone to explore jobs based upon the amount of experience, education andtraining needed. Upon completion of the survey, information is provided to the participants about the careers thatmatch their interests and training.Perfect <strong>Career</strong> <strong>Interest</strong> <strong>Inventory</strong>http://www.iccweb.com/Perfect_<strong>Career</strong>.htm• Kforce is a full-service staffing firm providing flexible and permanent staffing solutions fororganizations and career management for individuals in the specialty skill areas of informationtechnology, finance and accounting, human resources, engineering, pharmaceutical, and health care.Program Features:• Participants must log on by filling out a short user registration page. Participants answer 252questions (takes 20-30 minutes) about eighteen occupations that make up the U.S. work scene.• When taking the quiz, participants check each statement that interests them.
