This auspicious ceremony marked a presence of Dignitaries inclusive ofShri Jitendra Chandarana, Vice Chairman, MEFGI, Mr. Ravi Jagani, CEO, Atul Industries Ltd., Rajkot, Dr.Y.P. Kosta, Director‐Technical Campus, MEFGI, Dr. S. Chinnam Reddy, Dr. R.B. Jadeja, and Dr. SridaranRajagopal – deans of Faculty of Management, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of ComputerApplication, MEFGI, respectively.Dignitaries on Dias – 1 st Convocation of <strong>PGDM</strong> batch <strong>2010</strong>‐<strong>12</strong>The event began with lighting up of the lamp by the Dignitaries with a prayer rendered bystudents of <strong>PGDM</strong> followed by the welcome with flower bouquets.The convocation was opened with very warm welcome address by Dr. S.C.Reddy where herecognized the glorious achievements earned by students of graduating <strong>PGDM</strong> batch of <strong>2010</strong>‐<strong>12</strong>. Dr.Reddy, who is an academician himself gave very insightful advice of “Truthfulness, Trustworthiness,Transparency, Transformation, Persistent, Thoughtfulness” to graduating students. He emphasized oncontinuous learning by quoting “Person who graduated yesterday will be illiterate tomorrow if he stopslearning.”The ceremony, then was taken forwarded by Prof. Rutwa Mehta by proposing conferment ofdegree followed with award of Degree certificates to all graduating students of <strong>PGDM</strong> of batch <strong>2010</strong>‐<strong>12</strong>by MEFGI Chairman Shri Jitendra Chandarana.

Mr. Ravi Jagani, young industrialists, avidtechnologists and former management student himself shared his intellect thoughts on verycontemplative subject of Choosing Right Career. He mentioned that graduating students today face thefear of choice as they have thousand of career options to choose from as compared to optionsavailable 20 years back. He emphasized on pursuing one’s passion to ensure success and said moneyshould be the byproduct of it. He also asked students not to be fearful and have some risk appetite inorder to make it big in life.
