The table below shows thereasons for households moving. The totals come to more than the total number of householdsmoving home as each household was able to answer as many reasons as they felt were applicable.The main reason for households moving was ‘To live closer to employment or other essentialfacilities’ followed by ‘Other’ reasons (some examples being moving to study, bereavement,hospital treatment, and health reasons). These reasons can be seen to be the local drivers forhouseholds that have moved to a new home in the <strong>City</strong> of <strong>Westminster</strong> in the last two years.PAGE 45
