At that time wehad many enthusiastic adorers, but over time, due tomoves, job changes, health changes, and adorers going onto be with the Lord, we have lost numerous adorers.Though we have had a few new volunteers to spend timewith our Lord, numbers have not kept up with the openhours in the adoration schedule. Please consider becominga regular adorer for one hour per week. If your scheduledoes not allow you to make the commitment weekly, youcan find a friend to share the hour with you, or you cancommit to, for example, the first and third Tuesdays of themonth. Does an hour seem like a long time to be inprayer? Besides prayer, you can use the hour for Bible orother devotional reading, meditation, or just quiet time. You will be amazed at how quickly an hour will go; and thegraces you will receive will soon encourage you to spendnot only that time, but also to desire to abide with Jesuseven longer. Jesus has promised to be with us always untilthe end of the age, and He remains with us in the BlessedSacrament. He waits for you and desires to be with you.The Chapel of Mercy is open for prayer and meditation24/7.
