Patrons can choose thelevel of contribution they would like to make.Where Does the MoneyCome From?The Booster Club holds a number offundraising events throughout the year togenerate funds for allocation to athleticprograms and projects. Major fundraisingactivities include:300 Club Reverse RaffleField Sponsorship SignsDay Mailer (patron program)Fall Sports Program & T-Shirt AdsWhere Does the Money Go?Each athletic team contact person submitstheir request for support to the Booster ClubBoard. The Booster Club Board reviews therequest in line with the current budget. TheBooster Club Board then presents theirrecommendations to the Booster Club forapproval. Our membership drive is under wayand we are looking for new members tosupport our mission and student athletes!Annually, the Woodridge Booster Club grantsrequests from over 14 High School andMiddle School sports teams to purchaseuniforms and equipment. During the lastthree years, the Booster Club has purchasedover $50,000.00 in uniforms and equipment.Annually, the Woodridge Booster Club alsoawards up to seven one-time $500.00scholarships to senior student-athletes tohelp with their college education expenses.We strongly believe that interscholasticathletics is an integral part of a well-roundededucation and that the positive publicitybrought to the school by these programshelps create a better overall learningenvironment as well as a source ofcommunity spirit and pride.Thank you in advance for your generousresponse to this effort. After that date, ticketsare $65.00. Benefits of membership include:1) There are 5 drawings for $100.00 permonth at the Booster Club meeting. Eachticket is eligible. An additional $500.00winner is drawn in June.2) If you are one of the lucky monthly winnersand there is an outstanding balance onyour ticket, the amount owed will bededucted from your winnings. (exception:$500.00 prize in June – ticket must already bepaid in full)3) Your ticket also gives you entrance to theend of the year Reverse Raffle (held thefirst Saturday in December).
