The emphasis of this session will be dynamics,techniques and thoughts process to enable higher accuracy for all bowlers. The session will incorporategame plans and preset triggers for bowlers. Actual bowling will be conducted on the oval and in the nets.Coaches will be Clinton Kempnich and Steve Bullen.Due to the limitations on net space and coaches this is an RSVP event only. Please respond to ClintonKempnich (c.kempnich@valleycricket.org.au) to acknowledge attendance so as to help with planning.PhotosJust a reminder about photos which will be taken on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 November 2012. Please wearwhites (no hat) and be outside the clubhouse 5 minutes before your allotted time. Coaches and managersshould wear their VDCC shirt. Your children’s team photos will be ready for collection before the end of thehalf season. If your child is not able to be photographed, it is possible for the photographer to insert a headshot into the team photo. To allow this to happen, please provide your team manager with a head andshoulders shot with a reasonable pixel count (at least 1 MB) in whites (no hat) against a background that isplain. Managers, could you please forward photographs of missing players to bob@actionphotos.com.auwith your team age group and name. This must be done by the end of this week (Friday 9 November 2012) ifyou want your photos inserted.KFC T 20 at ValleysThe KFC T 20 challenge is being hosted at Valleys on Sunday November 18. It is the third of three gamesand at the end of the match Darren Lehmann will announce the player who will be given a Brisbane Heatcontract. The Heat cars and mascot will also be parked between the two ovals. It promises to be an amazingspectacle involving Queensland’s best up and coming players including Valleys stars Andrew Gode andLuke Feldman. The game action starts at 10 am but there is also a free junior cricket clinic being run at 9:30am. All are welcome.Nick’s tonCongratulations to Valley junior Nicholas Stoddart who scored an unbeaten 151 off 90 balls in a recent game(including 8 sixes and 20 fours). This is officially the third highest junior score ever for a Valley junior playerand the second highest U14 score in Australia so far this season (and Nick is officially U13). Nick scored histon with his dad’s bat which was an emergency substitute as Nick broke his bat in the nets the night before.Not surprising, Nick won’t part with the bat and his dad needs to buy himself a new one.Brock’s ton and six wicket haul – in one game!Today Brock McLachlan managed to pull off a magical double in a Shane Watson Cup (U16s) game. Notonly did take 6/45 but he followed it up with an unbeaten century. It’s always good to check your statistics if you are not sure, as lastyear there were some issues with scores not being recorded and this was not discovered until end of season(when it was too late to rectify).Fixing your contact details and finding informationIf you alter your address, email or telephone numbers it is very easy to alter our records. All you need to dois to log into My Cricket using your child’s My Cricket number and password. The system will re-send yourpassword if you have forgotten.
