The number of stacks open was varied, from three stacks open to allthree stacks closed. This affected the entering and exiting air velocities and resultingtemperature distribution in both the heated zones and within the atrium. The air velocitymeasured using the hot-wire anemometer and resulting airflow through the inlet and outletopenings are presented in Table 33. The air velocities presented are the average of all thevelocities measured at each window for a given floor level.
