Programs of StudyUndergraduate Programs 25++Effective beginning with the Fall 2007 semester (Fall 2008 for transfer students), students are placed in the appropriatemathematics course based on their ACT Math scores – see chart below. If a student does not have an ACT Math score, or wishesto challenge their placement, they may take the COMPASS Exam. There is a $10.00 fee for the challenge exam and it can onlybe completed once. Based on their placement, students may need to take additional courses as pre-requisites for the mathematicscourse their major requires. Please see the Mathematics section of this catalog for more details.If your ACT Math score is above 23 and you want to earn credit in MAT 121 <strong>College</strong> Algebra, please discuss the <strong>College</strong>-Level Examination Program (CLEP) with your academic advisor. The math CLEP test must be completed before you complete ahigher-level math course.
