A Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Management with a choice of four concentrationshas recently been added and will soon be available entirely online. Graduate level students interested in courses for personaland professional enrichment will also find many opportunities for continuing their education and lifelong learning through WSCcontinuing education course offerings.Dual-credit courses may be available in cooperating high schools through WSC. These courses, offered in the high schoolduring the regular school day, provide a mechanism for qualified high school juniors and seniors to take entry-level collegecourses. The information is also available onour website: www.wsc.edu.FOUNDATION / ALUMNI<strong>Wayne</strong> <strong>State</strong> FoundationThe <strong>Wayne</strong> <strong>State</strong> Foundation is a non-profit corporation organized by alumni and friends of the <strong>College</strong> “to operate as acharitable and educational foundation exclusively for the promotion and support of <strong>Wayne</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>College</strong>.” With funds derivedfrom grants, gifts, bequests, and a reserve endowment fund, the Foundation supports programs of student loans, scholarships,awards, and other educational activities for which tax funds are either not available or may not be used for a specified purpose.The <strong>Wayne</strong> <strong>State</strong> Foundation has also secured contributions for construction and renovation projects and campus beautification.<strong>Wayne</strong> <strong>State</strong> Alumni AssocationThe Alumni Office establishes, maintains and enhances relations between the <strong>College</strong>, students, alumni and friends thatfoster a spirit of loyalty, involvement and life-long commitment to the <strong>College</strong> and one another. The Alumni Office hosts eventswhich enable its alumni and friends to meet each other, maintain friendships, and keep up to date on the mission and needs of the<strong>College</strong>.ADMISSION PROCEDURESApplying For AdmissionWSC is an open institution committed to providing access and opportunity for all students to fulfill essential educationalneeds regardless of race, culture, disability, and/or socioeconomic conditions. The programs and instruction have a commitmentto multicultural education from which students can gain respect and appreciation for the total culture of ethnic and minoritygroups in American society.Students seeking admission to the college can obtain an official application from several sources:1. clicking on the “Apply Now” icon on the WSC website: www.wsc.edu2. download the PDF application from the WSC website: www.wsc.edu3. high school guidance counselor;4. contacting the WSC Office of Admissions.The completed application should be submitted to the Office of Admissions. The application and any transcripts of credit becomethe property of WSC and will not be returned or forwarded.Based on Nebraska <strong>State</strong> <strong>College</strong> Board of Trustees Policy, WSC reserves the right to deny or restrict the admission of anyonewho has ever been convicted of, or is currently under indictment for, a criminal offense involving physical injury to persons orproperty. This also applies to anyone institutionalized for conduct causing physical injury to persons or property.Admission FeeThe admission application processing fee is required at the time the student first submits the application for admission. The admissionfee is $30.00 for domestic and international students. This fee does not apply toward tuition or any other fees and is validfor up to one year after the time of initial application. The application processing fee is refundable only if the student is deniedadmission.ADMISSION REQUIREMENTSFreshmen -- High School GraduatesWSC will admit, as first-time freshmen, those students who have graduated from an accredited high school. High schoolseniors may submit their applications for admission, the application fee, and transcript any time after completion of the sixthsemester of high school. Seniors must have their high schools submit at least a six-semester transcript. A final high schooltranscript documenting official graduation date from that high school must be submitted to WSC prior to the start of the semesterfor which admission is being sought.Upon review by the Director of Admissions, conditional admission acceptance may be granted to high school students priorto completion of the sixth semester of high school.
