Low-Profile Pumping Unit
Ideal for rod pumping under irrigation systems and visually
sensitive areas.
The StrapJack unit is uniquely
suited for special applications
where equipment height
requirements are a factor. This
pumping unit combines maximum
stroke length and minimum
height requirements to make it
the optimal choice for operation
under active irrigation systems.
Its low profile reduces the visual
impact of a well in sensitive areas,
such as parks and residential
developments.
Engineered for safety
and economy.
The carrier bar of the StrapJack
unit is designed to be well above
the bottom of the unit’s skid at
the bottom of the downstroke.
This feature means that wellhead
cellars can be shallower or even
eliminated in some cases. Where
cellars are required, they are
usually less than 4 ft (1.2 m) deep,
eliminating the “confined entry”
designation and thus improving
safety and saving considerable
maintenance expense.

Easy set-up and wellhead
maintenance access.
The StrapJack unit is pre-assembled and is shipped
in one piece for fast, easy set-up and moves. The unit
can be installed and ready for use in just a few hours.
Well maintenance is simplified by a folding Samsonpost
assembly. With removal of a pin on the third leg
and disconnection of the carrier bar from the polished
rod, the Samson post roller assembly can be quickly
and easily folded back, away from the wellhead. This
design maximizes work space and safety during
pulling or servicing operations.
