Girls in Public Care (looked afterchildren) <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> children who were lookedafter but ceased <strong>to</strong> be so because theywere adopted (or became subject <strong>to</strong> aresidency order) immediately after theyhad been looked after. Providedappropriate evidence is submitted.2. Up <strong>to</strong> 42 places may be selected by abilityassessed by means of selecti<strong>on</strong> tests <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g>ranked according <strong>to</strong> the results of thetests. Then the remaining places up <strong>to</strong> 170will be allocated according <strong>to</strong> the followingcriteria3.
