It would beexpected that there would be supportingin<strong>for</strong>mation from an accredited medicalprofessional recommending arrangementsappropriate to the need. It would also benecessary to establish a history of need bydemonstrating that similar arrangements are inplace at the applicant’s current school. KendrickSchool may contact the applicant’s primaryschool to verify <strong>and</strong> confirm existingarrangements.Where special arrangements are required <strong>for</strong> thechild to take the Entrance Test, <strong>parents</strong> mustalso complete the appropriate section of theKendrick Application Form.Over-subscription CriteriaGrammar schools are permitted to select theirentire intake on the basis of high academicability. To be considered <strong>for</strong> admission to theschool all applicants must take the entrancetests set by the school.The test results will determine those on orabove the cut-off point of 109.0, below whichstudents will be deemed not to benefit fromthe education provided at Kendrick School, <strong>and</strong>these students will not be offered a place <strong>and</strong>will not there<strong>for</strong>e be ranked according to theover-subscription criteria below.All applicants with test results above the cut-offpoint will be ranked in the following order <strong>and</strong>within each category strictly by theirper<strong>for</strong>mance in the test:i) the applicant has statement of specialeducation needs <strong>and</strong> has Kendrick School isnamed on the statementii)the applicant is a child in care or wasiii)iv)previously in care but has since beenadopted.The permanent home address of theapplicant is within the designated area ofthe school <strong>and</strong> this address is the homeaddress of the parent(s)/carer(s) <strong>and</strong> thestudent.Applicant whose permanent home addressis outside the designated area of theschool.Designated areaThe designated area is determined by thepostcode of the applicant’s permanent homeaddress.
