Pre-Admission MeetingAs part of the induction process a meeting isarranged, prior to admission, to help bestmeet the education needs of the student.The meeting <strong>for</strong>ms no part of the admissionprocess.AppealsParents/<strong>carers</strong> of students refused a place inall years groups of the school, are entitled toappeal to an independent appeals panel.Sixth Form Entry PolicyHighdown School <strong>and</strong> Sixth Form Centreoperates an open policy <strong>for</strong> entry to thesixth <strong>for</strong>m. Applications from students nottransferring from Highdown are consideredalongside existing students.
