XA Accessories: How To Choose theCorrect Filter, Regulator andSolenoid KitsStep 2Step 1From the BETE catalog, determine theXA setup you will be using and thenumber of nozzles.Use the table on the right of this pageto determine the general kit number,either 20 or 60.On the inside pages you will find system diagramsthat illustrate how the various components must beconnected to produce the best results.Beside each system diagram is a pair of letters: AA,BB, CC, or DD. The00 and 02 bodies respondfaster than the 01 body.AA02 Body Use a 3-way valve onthe cylinder air line for the fastestresponse. Use an optional 2-waysolenoid valve on the atomizing airline to conserve air when the liquidflow is shut off. Note that theatomizing air valve must openbefore the 3-way cylinder air valve.00 Body The operation is thesame as for the 02 body, but thepiping is more difficult because thelocation of the cylinder air inlet isindependent of the atomizing airinlet. (Dueto valve capacity kit 60BB uses a 2-way solenoid.) The response of the01 body is slower than for the 02and 00 bodies because the liquidflow doesn’t stop until the air hasdrained from the line.Atomizing air pressure must begreater than 30 psi to provideadequate cylinder pressure.CC00 Body Liquid is fed underpressure to the 00 body, which usesA, B, C or D hardware.
