Part 2 – CONSIDERATION OF DATA AND RESEARCHTo conduct the assessment you will need information about service users, and the staff thatprovide the service. Are there any key groups of people who willbe affected, or who have been over/under represented?The majority of the patients requiring oral nutrition support are aged over 65 years. Theproportion of the population aged over 65 years is higher in Eastern Cheshire than the UK asa whole, so proportionately more individuals in this area may require oral nutrition support.2.3 Relevant consultationHaving identified key groups, how have you made sure that the document will affect them inthe way that you intend?
