The corn mill was in use as a distillery in the 1830s but reverted tocorn milling.HistoryCorn and tuck mills are recorded here in 1735. The corn mill appears to have beenused for a time as a distillery as it is cited as such on the 1839 OS six-inch map. The1840s <strong>Mill</strong> Valuation books <strong>no</strong>tes its reversion to a corn mill, operated by ThomasKelly. A 15ft x 2ft 2in wheel drove a single pair of pair of stones. The 1851 GriffithValuation book <strong>no</strong>tes James Kelly as the owner. The house, offices and corn mill wererated at £18.
